The Hawksbill Turtle Experience
Between May and October, hawksbill sea turtles nest on Saadiyat Beach directly in front of the Rotana. The hotel runs guided twilight walks to observe nesting turtles — properly managed to protect the animals, with expert guides who know where to look without disturbing the nests. Book through the concierge; places are limited and go quickly during peak nesting season.
