Inspired by the dynamic of flight and the feathers of a falcon, the design of the Zayed National Museum reflects Sheikh Zayed’s love of falconry and creates an iconic symbol for the nation.

Saadiyat Island is growing into a world class leisure and tourism hub which will showcase Abu Dhabi to the world.
Designed by golfing legend Gary Player, the Saadiyat Beach Golf Club is the regions first beach front course.

TDIC HOSTS QUINCY JONES ON A TOUR OF SAADIYAT

Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC), the master developer of Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi, welcomed American musician Quincy Jones on a tour of Saadiyat island yesterday. The musician was guided around the ‘Saadiyat Story’ exhibition at Manarat Al Saadiyat, where he was briefed on the progress of the island’s prestigious hospitality and residential projects. He also had the opportunity to view the Emirati Expressions exhibition, which is currently taking place at the venue and depicts photographs taken by Emirati artists under the direction of renowned photographer Stephen Shore.

The tour then continued at the show villas of Jawaher Al Saadiyat, which offer a preview of the three distinct types of Saadiyat Beach Villas. To conclude, Jones was led through the newly-opened Monte-Carlo Beach Club, Saadiyat, which is the first Monte-Carlo branded property outside of Monaco. He viewed the club’s facilities, including the pool area, gym, and its fine dining venues.

Following the tour, Quincy Jones said: “What is happening in Abu Dhabi is absolutely stunning. I never saw such a positive vision into the future. Everything is being done beautifully, and there is a lot of work and hope.”
