TDIC welcomed ambassadors of the European Union (EU) on a tour of the Saadiyat Construction Village, which was led by TDIC’s senior management. During the tour, they visited the facility’s accommodation clusters and its recreational facilities. These include a dining hall, library, games room, internet café, supermarket, gymnasium, TV rooms and outdoor sports courts. The group also had the opportunity to learn more about life at the village and the range of extracurricular activities that are on offer to the workers, including art exhibitions and cricket tournaments.
Saadiyat Construction Village is currently home to more than 10,000 workers and its facilities have set a new benchmark for workers’ living standards in the region.
