Sultan Mohamed Al-Mahmood is responsible for managing TDIC’s Human Resources department, Business Support and Transportation Management. With more than 10 years experience, Sultan brings new perspectives, insights and relevant experience to TDIC’s executive team, and the challenges and varied operations over which he will be responsible.
Prior to joining TDIC, Sultan worked in several prominent organisations including Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) as Executive Vice President and Head of Human Resources. He has also worked for the Abu Dhabi Government private airline Amiri Flight, and Citibank, where he held management positions.
Sultan has participated and contributed to various board committees as a member and an invitee, chairing the Senior Management Committee at ADCB. He was also involved in winning the Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Sector (EIBFS) HR award for the banking sector for the years of 2006, 2007 and 2008, and had a leading role in the successful ADCB/RBS acquisition in 2010. Sultan completed various training courses on leadership, HR strategy and budgeting, both in the UAE and abroad.
He is a graduate of Webster University in Geneva, Switzerland where he earned a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Development and a BA degree in Business Administration with a minor in Psychology. Sultan, a UAE national born in the UK, has lived and studied in various parts of the world, including Islamabad, Cairo and Geneva
