Saadiyat Cultural District is set to be the area dedicated for culture and art within Saadiyat. Crafted by the world’s greatest architectural minds, the area will be a shining beacon on the international arts scene with the opening of Louvre Abu Dhabi, Zayed National Museum and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi.
Within the Cultural District will be The District, an upscale retail destination opening soon, luxury beachfront residences in Mamsha Al Saadiyat, commercial centres, boutique hotels and distinguished educational facilities such as Cranleigh Abu Dhabi. The area will attract local, regional and international visitors who will be able to stroll along stunning promenades and walkways surrounded by water while also attending Abu Dhabi Art, an annual boutique art fair.
Manarat Al Saadiyat (open since 2009) and the UAE Pavilion (inaugurated in 2011) are iconic buildings that have already welcomed thousands of visitors to the Saadiyat Cultural District to experience art and culture and get a sense of the upcoming museums.
Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) is organising a wide-ranging public programme and an educational programme initiative that reaches out to audiences ahead of the museums’ openings.
