As a key partner of Saadiyat Island, the Louvre Museum shares TDIC’s deep commitment to cultural, social and artistic development. The principle responsibility of the Louvre is to conserve, protect, restore, and develop France´s national art treasures, from the early royal collections to the most recent acquisitions. Guggenheim Abu Dhabi

Situated on the Saadiyat Cultural district, the Guggenheim will become one of Abu Dhabi´s most iconic masterpieces. The Guggenheim is widely recognised as one of the most important cultural institutions in the world. And with nearly three million annual visitors worldwide, its network of museums is also amongst the most popular. Founded in 1937, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation is dedicated to promoting the understanding and appreciation of art and visual culture, through its exceptional exhibitions, education programs, research initiatives, publications and cultural partnerships.

Currently the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation owns and operates two museums, located in New York, and Venice. It also provides programming and management to Spain’s Guggenheim Museum Bilbao and the Deutsche Guggenheim, in Berlin.
